Hi wryjr, actually I also started with kit lens and you can still get a good output. ako 18-200 lang lagi gamit ko so no need of expensive lenses. just enjoy the activities. see you around (",) just send LPG + 1 if you want to join with Michelle's PS on 09/27.

sa 26 mkakabalik na ako dyan pinas (",) so makakasama ako basta tips klang sa portrait setting:

Contrast : set to lowest "to preserve details" -> u can add later in Photoshop
Color : mode 11 for natural colors
Sharpness : high ++ pra ma assist mo mbuti sa cam monitor mo
Quality : RAW - this is very important yung iba ayaw kasi malaki daw pero if u want high quality eto gamitin mo
White balance : auto lang kasi nka RAW ka

if you have external flash you can bring pero pag wla ok lang kasi meron tau reflector, siguro yun lang sa theme and poses kami na bahala all you need is shoot find the best angle and compositions and learn how to capture model best facial expressions.

Basta marami tayo matutunan dito just enjoy the activities and dnt forget to post and share soon pra sa comments

haha ganun din ako nung bago basta kalikutin mlang camera mo tska practice lng lagi, tamang tama kasi we're planning to make these activities every weekends and more models to be posted soon so just stay tuned

Soon we also have chance to shoot some Taiwanese and Chinese models

For now I need to confirm with Michelle basta free nman sya weekends, yap ok lang yun can shoot more of wide kasi sexy nman model natin kaya ok sa kanya yung full body shoots. then you can use the 55mm and largest aperture if you want better DOF so sa tingin ko kaya yun ang importante you can practice your compositions

I also suggest pag meron ka money you can buy 50mm 1.8 its cheap pero very good for portrait cgro mga 4K lng ata yun

This is a great thread and a great forum! Kudos to you sir Denz for coming up with this concept!

Hopefully maka-sama ko sa PS here one of these days. Newbie pa lang din ako, barely 4 months on photography. I really want to improve more on this. Try ko on the 26th kung makakasama ako... hopefully. I have other priorities din kasi eh. Tska kitlens lang din pala gamit ko... huhuhuhu. Desperatley wanting a Nikkor 55-200mm VR for portraits. For now, ipon-ipon muna!
