Nissin Di622 or Nikon SB600

I'm planning to buy an external flash for my D40. Are there any users of Nissin Di662 here... and Nikon SB600? I've browsed reviews of both speedlights but I want to hear from feedbacks from forumers here. If you can post sample photos that would be really appreciated. Thanks so much!

i have a sb600 and once linaro ko na ikabit sa cam ng friend ko which is a canon body...aba nagflash rin wihtout a problem

Pag merong manual setting yung Nissin, I think you can go for cheaper kasi ilaw lng nman kailangan sa flash pra sakin (",)
Tska yun naseset ko manually pero pag kunti din lang difference go to Nikon na (",) but I think they can deliver same output mgkakatalo lang sa quality and durability ng body cgro.

Isa p pla tip ko kng mg SB600 ka hindi mo natitilt so I think mg internal flash ka nlang pag bumili ka ng external yung natitilt para macontrol mo yun ambient light sa indoor shooting importante kasi yun bounce flash tech para sakin

SB600... CLS and compatibility with NIKON systems... Also has better resale value...

Ok din ang Nissin if going to be used as a slave unit...

but if you've got the cash... I'd suggest to invest in same brand flash...

Agree din pag meron kng cash mas mas ok bumili kna ng sigurado, I suggest you to buy SB800 pag pwede (",)

SB800 is a good flash kaso discontinued and mahirap makatyempo ng matinong 2nd hand model... SB600 you can still get brand new with 1 year warranty pa...

But the sb800 is a good flash... sayang hindi ako nakabili nito last dec 2008 while still available sa hidaldgo...

i have also a d40 and a sb600..ok naman un..aun nga lang u need to buy a trigger(kung matagal mo pang gagamitin ang d40) kasi di pde sa d40 eh..agree din ako na same brand ka nalang bro..

So if I'll buy the SB600, I still have to buy a trigger for me to be able to use it? Di ba sya usable agad, salpak na lang sa hotshoe then shoot away with the flash? I'm a little bit confused. Sensya na sir, di pa ako nakakagamit ng external flash eh.

yes pde mo xa gamitin sa hotshoe, pero kung gusto mo xang gamitin ng wala sa hotshoe, walang internal trigger ang d40..1300php ung trigger na un..sa later dslrs ng nikon meron na trigger..

Ahhh... copy that sir. Yung Nissin Di622 ata pwede kahit wala trigger eh? Pwede nga ba? Pinag-iisipan ko kasi yung quality and durability nya... pero looks like I'm leaning towards it coz mas cheaper sya sa SB600. Any more insights, anyone?
