Mimi (Full Portfolio)@ImageSmith Studio Dec 13, 2009

I received an early phone call from a modeling agency for their model portfolio shoot. Had the chance to shoot this very lovely and pretty model named Mimi. This lady is very nice and friendly. My honor to share her portfolio to fellow LPGs.

Wow, I hope modeling agencies will contact me too hehe...
About your shots sir, good exposure, beautiful model, typical poses, and typical composition.

Have you try to use diff. light set up here sir?

Imagesmith provides Professional Lightsman to suit Photographer's and model's need. I'm very much a fan of shades to put drama/contrast to the subject. We used 3 huge softboxes and a pin light to provide different background colors like picture #2.

This is my first time to do a photostudio shoot and it's not easy. We have to rearrange the lighting for every background change, Model positioning and dress changes.

Over all 25% of your time goes to getting the right lighting, shades and meters. Hence, the studio rent bill goes high.

Pare next time sama kita and itutuloy natin yung pinaplano nating shoot. If this is out of pocket expenses okay lang eh. Kaso 3rd party ang magbabayad eh.

And for the record si Denz ang mahilig mag solo hindi ako no!! ehheheheheh

hehehe it was Jaren who took the shot.

Tinanggal kasi ni Denz yung avatar ko eh. Langya ka Jing sa Facebook mo kinuha yang pic ko ha. hehehehe

Had a great time in HK working!!!! huhuhuh no place to shoot as it was drizzling the whole time I was there. So kailan tayo mag plaplano nang studio shoot????

In real life hindi eh. Tama lang per my criteria. Model padre so conscious sa katawan. Hirap naman siguro nang obese tapos naka tank top di ba?

Thank you sir Joseph for appreciating. Sir small time lang ako at jologs din katulad nila Jing, Denz, Hayok, Ryozo and others, nagkataon lang yung immediate need nung agency.

I was adviced by the studio that since this is a Portfolio shoot, dapat basic lang ang lighting, model pose and composition. Dapat nakikita yung itsura nang model nang close-up, half and full body. Dapat lumitaw yung beauty and X-factor nung model kaya tama ka na dapat minimal approach lang sa lahat.

True Blue Soloista!!!! daming dahilan nyan kung bakit ayaw mag post nang pic kesyo sira daw ang internet sa bahay. Ayaw lang pabuking na nag so-solo!! ehehehhehe
